MDS Coordinator

Bishop Wicke Health and Rehab Center, located on the Wesley Village Campus, with a 5-star rating and a relationship-centered approach to senior living, has a full-time opportunity for an experienced MDS Coordinator. This salaried position reports directly to the V.P. of Clinical Services. 

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in a skilled nursing and rehab setting.   The candidate will be responsible for the overall MDS process and care planning with interdisciplinary input and will be responsible to keep apprised of the ever-changing MDS protocols and regulations related to Medicare and Managed Care.    

Candidates must have a current CT RN license, be knowledgeable about current regulations, and be able to work as a team player, focusing on successful outcomes related to Quality Measures, in a fast-paced setting.  Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.

Therapeutic Recreation Associate

Bishop Wicke Health and Rehab Center, located on the Wesley Village Campus, offers a relationship-centered approach to senior living. The community currently has a part-time opportunity for an experienced Therapeutic Recreation team member.

Our ideal candidate should have experience planning, coordinating activities, and working with an inter-disciplinary team approach. Experience in long term as well as short term rehab setting a must.   This position requires the candidate to have strong inter-personal and customer service skills.   Responsibilities include admission assessment gathering, charting, documentation for the MDS, and evening programming. Hours are M-F 4pm-8pm with the ability to work weekends as needed.

Social Services

Bishop Wicke Health and Rehab Center, located on the Wesley Village Campus, offers a relationship-centered approach to senior living. The community has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Social Worker who would report directly to the V.P. of Clinical Services.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a nursing home, assisted living, rehab or senior adult care center with at least 5 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for MDS assessments and documentation, care conference participation, interdisciplinary team meetings, individual resident support and crisis intervention.

Candidates must have a degree in social services.

Executive Director 

Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care, located in Memphis, TN is looking for an Executive Director for this unique property consisting of 5 cottages designed to meet resident needs from nearly independent living to secured memory care. We are part of United Methodist Homes, a mission-based organization that operates using a relationship-centered philosophy. We believe that by building strong relationships between residents, families and staff that we can provide the highest level of care and create an enjoyable working environment. Candidates must be familiar with the Memphis area and have five or more years’ experience as an assisted living or nursing home administrator. It is important that the leader in this position have a positive attitude, warm and caring demeanor, be a strategic thinker and process oriented leader. They must have a passion for working with older adults and experience with a dementia population. It is important that they be able to reinforce our mission and comply with our policies and procedures with regard to staff management, compliance and risk.

 

Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university; plus 5 years of progressive accomplished experience as either a nursing home or assisted living administrator. Licensed TN nursing home or assisted living license required. They must have experience managing all financial aspects of a budget and census management. Computer skills and ability to use a lead tracking system are essential. Experience in culture change initiatives, process improvement and staff development is required. House Manager

This full time, supervisory position, unique to Foxbridge is a great opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant with a minimum of 6 months' experience working with older adults and previous supervisory experience to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.  Qualified candidates will demonstrate compassion and care, with the ability to assist residents with Alzheimer's and related dementia.  The House Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing the care of the residents, communicating with family members, and scheduling and supervising the staff in their house.  CNA certification must be current.  Mentoring and good communication skills are a must.  Please send your resume to jackietfoxbridge@bellsouth.net or apply in person Monday - Friday between 9AM - 5PM.
