60-Day Trial Stay Program

Change can be hard – but it doesn’t have to be. At all of our UMH communities, we understand that the decision to move into an Independent or Assisted Living community is a difficult one. 

Often times, your loved one is not convinced it is the right time and other family members may feel guilty even suggesting it.

We take the stress out of making a move by offering the opportunity to “test drive” our maintenance-free lifestyle. That is why we offer a 60-Day Trial Stay. 

Just like you might not buy a car without giving it a test drive, you do not have to make a move into a senior living community without first giving it a try.

We offer our 60-day stay program at our Middlewoods of Farmington and Middlewoods of Newington communities.

Our 60-day trial stay is especially popular during the winter when temperatures start dropping and snow is on the way.

Our winter stay is a wonderful option for people who:

• Don’t want to worry about snow removal and ice
• Will benefit from socialization and meaningful programs
• Will enjoy worry-free living – no cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning or laundry!
• Aren’t ready to make a long-term move/commitment!

Our Trial Stay comes with a furnished apartment – just bring some basics, and sit back and enjoy maintenance-free living and the “three S’s of senior living” – Safety, Security and Socialization!
